Tissue Liquefaction Technology™ (TLT) was discovered and invented by Mark S. Andrew, MD, and Mylina Lincoln-Andrew, MS, while in pursuit of developing a cataract extraction device with reduced impact on surrounding tissue. That goal was realized: TLT is the basis of the AquaLase® Liquefaction Device, a modality on Alcon's premier cataract machine, the INFINITI® Vision System. Andrew Technologies has now developed this liquefaction methodology into a breakthrough in aesthetic body contouring. Now, HydraSolve™ represents the second commercial application of this unique liquefying mechanism of action.
