Mark S. Andrew, MD, Founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO)
Dr Andrew is the founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Andrew Technologies, LLC. He is the co-inventor of Tissue Liquefaction Technology™ (TLT). Andrew Technologies’ HydraSolve™ is the second clinical application of TLT, the first being the AquaLase® Liquefaction Device, a small-incision cataract removal technology on Alcon’s premier cataract machine, the INFINITI® Vision System, used routinely in more than 50 countries.

Dr Andrew is a board-certified ophthalmologist with more than 25 years’ experience. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, and served his residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. His scientific background includes basic science research in endocrinology, immunology, and biochemistry. Dr Andrew holds 6 issued US patents with 5 pending, as well as 23 issued foreign patents.

Tom Albright, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Mr Albright serves as Chief Executive Officer and board member of Andrew Technologies, LLC. Mr Albright joined Andrew Technologies with almost 3 decades of drug-, biologic-, device-, and aesthetic-related sales, marketing, and general management experience. He has held leadership positions at Allergan (the world’s leading aesthetic medical company) and Nobel Biocare (the world’s leading aesthetic dental company), and most recently was president of the topical aesthetic division at Syneron Medical Ltd. Mr Albright earned a BS in biology from The Citadel and an MBA in marketing from Mercer University.

Ron Castillo, Vice President, Finance
Mr Castillo serves as Vice President of Finance for Andrew Technologies, LLC. He has more than 14 years of financial management experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, high-tech, and banking fields, and has held various financial leadership positions at Allergan and Johnson & Johnson. Mr Castillo earned a BA in business administration with an accounting emphasis from California State University, Fullerton, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.

Herbert Crane, Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance
Mr Crane serves as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance for Andrew Technologies, LLC. He has more than 20 years’ experience in medical device and dental device quality assurance and regulatory affairs with Staar Surgical and Nobel Biocare. Prior to joining Andrew Technologies, Mr Crane was Director of Global Regulatory Affairs for Nobel Biocare, the leading aesthetic dental company, where he led the successful US FDA clearance of more than sixty 510K submissions for surgical devices, aesthetic materials, and capital equipment. Mr Crane earned a BA degree from the University of La Verne, and has been a Certified Quality Engineer since 1993.

Brian Lenehan, Marketing Director
Mr Lenehan is the Marketing Director for Andrew Technologies, LLC. He has worked with several medical device start-ups over the past 12 years to expedite new product launches and improve overall company market share. Working in business development and marketing capacities, he has led clinical trial enrollments and participated in large-scale national research studies. He earned an MBA from London Business School in 2007.
